The sun is shining, we are sitting in the truck in Greece on the peninsula of Attica, north of Athens. Since March 8, the Rolling Safespace is located here, ROSA – Rolling Safespace e.V. a mobile contact point for women on the run. This is an ongoing report on the situation and situation in Greece.

Between heat, camps, and a new truck

The sun pops onto the small, paved parking lot and the children try to distract themselves from the heat with water games. The women sit in the shade of the tent and drink ice-cold iced tea to survive the hot temperatures.

Arrive, adapt, carry on

The three camps we currently visit, Ritsona, Oinofyta and Malakasa, are now firmly anchored in our weekly structure. It is nice to see that many already known women still come to us regularly but also some new women participate in our offers.
